Tilted House is a New Orleans-based book press that spans the spectrums of class, race, locale, generational and educational milieus—and wants to hear from everyone.
We get off on the dirty effervescence of this city’s great artists. Through this outfit, we strive to cultivate a creative and communal unit from and for the city. And while the door is wide open for New Orleans’ minds, it remains open for the rest of the world’s. Everyone is encouraged to submit. 

We publish a diversity of moods and modes—whether it be formal poetry, relief prints, or a surrealist play—, but our eyes get extra dilated by work that is experimental, avant-garde, or otherwise bending what is “normal”. We pick up fresh and pickled artists alike, bridging the void between professors and street poets, MFAers and outliers, locals and the world. Whether you are new to the pen or a veteran, we want to see your work.
