Netsuke

FEE: $0-30
PRIZE: $100 / five author copies
SUBMISSIONS WINDOW: Oct 1-Nov 15, 2025
CONTENT & COUNT: 10-12 poems and/or images

Up to 3 manuscripts selected.

DESCRIPTION

Our micro-series, Netsuke (pronounced net-skay), likes the tiny, potent, terse. We want 10-12 page manuscripts of very short poems; five lines or fewer, or visual art, or both, still not exceeding 12 pages.

As an art book series, Netsuke will publish 2-3 manuscripts, either together in one unit or separately (synergy depending). The forms these books take are dependent on content.

While there is no theme, we favor innovative, sonic, omissive, dislocated, explorative, cryptic, and/or transgressive poetics in the (anti)form of text, image, or the (un)like.

Keep it inch.
