I Tried To Google “Description Of A Safe Place” And Found Nothing

everything can be gentle if I let it

gentle and cold and quiet

everywhere can be a lucent place

where golden light washes over the land as the sun sinks into bed

and I can lie down to watch smoke dance above me

while feeling the Earth run her roots along my back

everyone can be expansive

I won’t disappear myself when the light leaves

I’ll let every single star kiss me in the dark

listening as they whisper

“soft” and “safe”
