Laura Mullen writes poetry and hybrid genre works, makes films, collaborates with artists and musicians and is interested in surfacing representations possibilities by attending to and loosening limits and constrictions. She is the author of nine books—her most recent collection of poems, EtC, was published in 2023. Her translation of Véronique Pittolo’s Hero was published by Black Square Editions and her translation of Stéphanie Chaillou’s first book (something happens) was published by Diálogos. She’s currently translating another book-length project by Véronique Pittolo (Helen, A User’s Guide): look for poems in Fence. Mullen is also wrapping up a collection of poems (check out Posit 41, and also On Occasion: Poems for the People, just out from Coach House Books). She lives in California.
